Specialist in goal

As good as a player on the field

in goal as good as no one!

In today's football, the goalkeeper has an extended profile of requirements. On the one hand, he has to be trained in football like a field player, but on the other hand he is still a goal specialist. Whether we are goal players  or calling the goalkeeper is a play on words. The training of our position specialists, on the other hand, must take into account the requirement profile mentioned above.  The training philosophy, content and choice of exercises are based heavily on the expertise of our partners  Toma Trocha (DFB + FSV Mainz 05) and NB goalkeeper training Nico Bock (head of NB TW training, DFB base, Karlsruher SC women).

  • Falling and rolling with flat balls

  • Demand and encourage communication with fellow players

  • Play the ball by throwing it off and drop kicking it

What is important to us ..... coaching!

  • Demonstration of techniques and tactical behaviors in target defense and space defense (goalkeeping principles), e.g. when I face the 1 against 1, or when is it better to act more defensively in order to fend off the shot in the right position with the appropriate technique

  • Technique training through high repetitions and video sequences, with the help of which the technique and its mistakes are made clear and improved
